The Heart of the Gourmet is the creation of dulcimer performer and recording artist Kevin Roth. During one of his concert tours, Kevin stepped into a gourmet Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar tasting room and fell in love with the infused flavors and artisan concept. He soon began to create his concept of a store and online culinary collection for foodies and artisans, combining food, art, and charity into one concept. The Heart of the Gourmet was born.
“I wanted to have a store that was beautiful to look at, full of incredible tasting experiences, with unique culinary items that were fun, educational and stimulating for the senses. We have cooking classes, recipes online, and spend time with chefs, cooks, potters, musicians, and other food and artisans bringing unique, and incredible experiences to the public. Being an artist, I support local bakers and artists as well as the many I have found around the world while on concert tours. There isn’t enough room in my store to carry everything I want, but this is the first of hopefully several stores. The Heart of the Gourmet is all about food, fun and fantasy!”
It is well documented that EVOO ( Extra Virgin Olive Oil) is good for the heart. (See health benefits on web site) The Heart of the Gourmet sells only the freshest product available and high end gourmet accoutrements. We also give a percentage of profits to charities based on customer’s suggestions, as well as to animal rescue groups which he admires.
The Heart of The Gourmet also makes special blends, custom gift packages, and has tasting parties, catering concepts, and is an advocate for teaching children about healthy eating and wellbeing with his collection of original books and music; “Tales of Wabby Wabbit”.
